Rush The Red Tape!

Last week, Americans for Prosperity released a new Facebook game called “Red Tape Rush”. Players work to clear the red tape over prescription pills by matching three like pills in a row. This fun, addictive game is a take on wildly popular games like Candy Crush Saga and Bejeweled, but adds in an element of politics with information about Obamacare and AFP’s mission in between rounds.

“We hope people enjoy playing Red Tape Rush, because they certainly won’t have fun navigating through ObamaCare’s red tape, regulations, and higher premiums,” explained Levi Russell, Director of Public Affairs for Americans for Prosperity. “In the next month, hundreds of thousands of Americans will receive notice that their health care plans have been cancelled.

Playing the federal government’s red tape game with health care is never fun, but until Congress finally repeals Obama’s failed health care law, millions of Americans are going to be forced to play – and lose. It’s time for Congress to say “game over” to ObamaCare.”

AFP is a non-profit, nonpartisan, policy based organization committed to educating citizens about economic policy and mobilizing those citizens as advocates in the public policy process. Gamers can also take the pledge to fight for freedom with Americans for Prosperity’s “torchbearers” and RSVP to the National Day of Action: the first Saturday of each month where volunteers and staff band together to take part in phone banks and door knocking in cities and states across the country. It’s a thrilling rush to be part of a grassroots ground game that you just can’t get from any pill or game you have to experience for yourself to fully understand.

So head over to check out the game HERE or sign up for the next National Day of Action HERE but beware: this game, much like freedom, is addictive!
