The Real Reason Jeb Bush Should Not Be President

By on Aug 18, 2015 | 0 comments

Jeb Bush, former Republican governor of Florida, has a strong conservative record, but is weak on key issues. More importantly, however, his last name makes him not just a weak general election candidate, but would make his election as the American president a threat to worldwide democracy. Mr. Bush consistently advocates for the free market and against cronyism, but he supported the 2008-9 bank bailouts. While during his time as Governor the Florida economy appeared strong, it was helped by the sub-prime housing bubble. Though he advocates school choice, Bush is perhaps the most prominent supporter of the Common Core standards. It’s difficult to pretend that having federal school standards promotes diversity in education, but that’s what Bush has to do to square his support for both. Jeb Bush is also known as a dove on immigration. He’s trying to sell it now as being...

America’s “Provocation” for Islamic Terrorism

By on May 6, 2015 | 1 comment

After the attack on the Draw Mohammed contest in Garland, TX, people on the left and right have accused the group who organized the event of provoking the Islamist violence against them, and have said they should have known better. It’s a despicable display of cowardice. If we follow their advice we will be acknowledging defeat. A sample of the tweets: The U.S. has enough problems without publicity seekers going out and openly mocking religion in order to provoke attacks and death. BE SMART — Donald J. White House Press Corps Stays In DC Bubble Even In Estonia

By on Sep 3, 2014 | 0 comments

Regarding the President’s trip to Estonia, with all of the problems facing the region — Russia on the move in Ukraine, ISIS rewriting the map of the Middle East, Israel and HAMAS in an uneasy cease fire — the White House labeled Ann Compton’s last trip as a reporter to be “historic.” Journalists joined in. It’s hard to see this as anything but patronizing head-patting. Notice that the content of the question isn’t discussed, only that it was “tough but fair.” Historic moment here as @AnnCompton asks President Polish descargar whatsapp spy via ota Have child gps tracker Sensitive gps tracker for work trucks Hot spy on another iphone for free With With iphone spy freeware Made baixar sports tracker para android Do phone call tracker excel. The #Benghazi Talking Points Timeline Revisited

By on Apr 30, 2014 | 0 comments

As A.C. Spollen reported yesterday, the White House played a key role in orchestrating talking points about the attack in Benghazi on Sept 11, 2012 that killed Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and at least three other American personnel. As interesting as that news is, when the instructions were issued is just as important. First, here is Jay Carney getting abused by Jon Karl: Carney claims that administration officials and members of Congress relied on talking points prepared by the CIA, but that dishonestly glosses the fact that they were directed by White House official Ben Rhodes (Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications and Speechwriting)(No, I didn’t make that title up). According to reports from May, 2013, State Department and White House officials were emailing back and forth on September 14, 2012 with one email at 7:39...
