It’s hard to believe it has been four years since the (what was thought to be) series finale of 24. It was good it was brought to an end. The series just didn’t have anywhere else to go and kept running out of original story lines. What’s different about this revived season is that it won’t be shown in “real time.” Yes, all the events will still take place in a 24 hour time period, but with only 12 episodes, it will allow the characters to jump around time a little without the typical, “We’re 15 minutes away” routine we had become subject to. That actually gives them a little more creative freedom and won’t necessitate goofy sub-plots designed to keep things moving along.
